Our Basics class will introduce you to the incredible world of scrapbooking! Learn about paper trimmers, differences in adhesive, the type of album you should use, and lots more! You’ll also create a 12x12 layout to get you started. $20

May 10, 2007 (Thur) - Baby Pages, 6:30-8:30 pm
Create cute baby pages for girls and boys! Using Making Memories’ Fresh Anthology papers, you’ll complete two 12x12 layouts to capture memories of your little ones. $20 (Note: This class repeats on Thursday, May 24 from 10 am-Noon.)

May 12, 2007 (Sat) - Anthology Purse Album, 10 am-1 pm
Our very own Sandy Brown will help you create a unique chipboard mini album with purse holder using Creative Imaginations’ Anthology collection. This also makes a perfect Mother’s Day gift! $45


May 14, 2007 (Mon) - On the Move: Boy Pages, 6:30-8:30 pm
Little boys are always on the move, and these fun layouts are too! Create two 12x12 layouts using the Zoom Collection from Crate Paper. $20 (Note: This class repeats Wednesday, May 23 from 1-3 pm.)

May 16 (Wed) – Bling Bling Pages, 6:30-8:30 pm
Like to sparkle and shine? Add a little bling to your pages with this class! Sandy Brown will show you how to create two 12x12 one-page layouts with bling. You'll learn about different techniques to make your pages shimmer. $25

May 21 (Mon) – Monthly Mini Albums, 6:30-8:30 pm
This month’s mini album celebrates fathers! Make a folding photo box for a dad as a gift. $20

May 22 (Tues) – Latest & Greatest with Sheri, 6:30-8:30 pm
Play with the newest and coolest techniques and products on the market! Sheri will create a fresh 12x12 layout monthly. One thing is for sure—this class will never be the same! $20

May 24 (Thurs) – School Days License Plate Album, 6:30-9 pm
You’ve got all those photos from kindergarten and up, but they’re still not in albums, right? Get it all together in a fun license plate album just for the elementary through high school years. This album is also a great teacher’s thank you gift for the end of the school year! $45

May 29 (Tues) – Kit Clubhouse, 6:30-8:30 pm
Join the Kit Club! Every month we’ll meet to work on the weekly page kits from Treehouse Memories. Share your creations, and get help with your pages. Students are responsible for purchasing the weekly kits prior to class. $8










May 31 (Thurs) – Clearly Original with Sam, 6:30-8:30 pm
Are you curious about stamping? Or are you a stamping fiend? Beginner and experienced stampers unite! This month, Sam's class will be creating a chipboard puzzle page, the Vegas mini book, and a card. Be prepared to get a little ink on your fingers! $30

Lastly, don't forget our Annual Garage Sale on May 18 and 19! If you have new or usable supplies that you'd like to sell, be sure to pick up an agreement at the store before the event. Or, just join us on these days, and see what treasures you can get for less!

Sheri's Latest & Greatest and More Classes!

Hopefully you've completed your taxes and will be breathing a sigh of relief this evening. Unwind with us and take a break...Sheri's Latest & Greatest class is tonight! Here's this month's project:

As you can see, we'll be using the new Dutch Girl collection from Cosmo Cricket! Sheri's even included a little bit of Heidi Swapp bling on the two-page layout!

Also, don't forget Sheri's Storytime on Thursday mornings from 10:00-10:30 am. This is where you can shop uninterrupted while your kids read stories with Sheri in our classroom. A little peace and quiet for you while you shop, and a little storytime for the kids.

Sunday Matinee Crop, April 29, Sunday, 1-5 pm

This month "grease is the word." That's right! Our Sunday matinee will feature the original Grease, with John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John and Grease 2 (Michelle Pfeiffer before she became really famous!). We supply popcorn and candy--you bring your favorite drink. Cost: $15.

Happy Friday the 13th and Supply Lists

Today also happens to be Sam's birthday! Although she won't be at the store today, be sure to wish her a belated happy birthday when you stop by next week.

In case you haven't heard or received a message (we called every single one of you, provided we had your phone number), the supply list for Karen Russell's classes are available for pick-up. When you stop by the store, just give us your name, and we'll provide you with the supply list. You'll probably have many of the items on the supply list, but Karen has requested some special items for each of her classes. (We have certain items on order already.)

Some of the classes have very specific photos that you'll need to start gathering for your project. (The Saturday class has the most photos!) It is strongly suggested you try to bring your photos to your classes.

Karen Russell is Coming to SBA!

We hope you had a happy Easter! We've got lots coming up in the next month, including a visit from Karen Russell, designer for Creative Imaginations!

In case you are still deciding whether or not to take Karen's classes, here are some peeks at the projects...

Photography Q&A - Friday, May 4, 9:00 am-1:00 pm

This is a photography class geared at sending you out the door taking better photos. We'll be covering the basics, along with the more technical aspect of photography, like aperture, shutter speed, ISO settings, white balance, and long term storage. Don't let the fancy terms make you nervous--Karen will be explaining it in words that make sense! Plus, you'll also make a cool photo box. Cost: $45.

Picture This - Friday, May 4, 2:00-6:00 pm

This class is all about what to do with those photos once you've taken them. We're covering long-term storage, scrapbooking chronologically vs. not scrapbooking chronologically, and how to include a lot more photos into your layouts (even if you're a single photo kind of gal like Karen). Complete two 1-page 12x12 interactive layouts and view tons of sample layouts. Cost: $45.

Snapshots of a Good Life - Saturday, May 5, 8:00 am-Noon

Now that we've covered all the technical aspects of scrapbooking and photography, let's delve into the really important stuff--why do we scrapbook? For our kids? As an artistic outlet? Because it gives us a chance to hoard scrapbooking products? We're going to get to the heart of why we do what we do and talk a little bit about the history of scrapbooking, and then we're going to make a really amazing album. Cost: $45.

To top off Karen's visit, we will also have a National Scrapbooking Crop! From noon to midnight, you get 3 feet of table space, catered Mexican dinner, door prizes, guaranteed fun, and a visit from Karen Russell! All this for a crop fee of $50.

Don't forget: those who sign up for all three of Karen's classes will receive15 minutes of personal one-on-one scheduled time with Karen Russell!

Happy April and Happy Spring! Are you ready to get inspired? We have a lot of new classes and workshops this month that you'll love and will spring you into action! You won't want to miss out!

The 3Bs: Baby Brag Book, April 5, Thursday, 6:30-8:30 pm
Create a fabulous brag book for your (or someone else's) little one(s)! In this workshop, you'll create a 6x6 brag book that's ready for gift giving to mom or grandma (Mother's Day is coming up) or for putting in your own favorite photos. And don't worry about this being a "pink only" book--the paper is reversible, so it can be a boy baby book too! This workshop will repeat on Tuesday, April 10 from 10 am-Noon. Cost: $25.

Snappy Pages, April 12, Thursday, 6:30-8:30 pm
Yes, you can finish a great page in 30 minutes. In this class, we'll create at least two 12x12 layouts and share tips and "recipes" to get your pages done in a snap! Great pages don't need to take hours! Cost: $20.

Krafty Kids: Photo Cubes, April 15, Sunday, 1-2 pm
Have your child create a 3x3 photo cube of their favorite family photos! This class is designed for children 5 and older. This month is a 2-for-1 special: pay for 1 child, and a friend (or a sibling) is free! Cost: $15.

Monthly Mini Albums, April 16, Monday, 6:30-8:30 pm












Our mini album class focuses on mom this month! We'll create a purse-shaped mini album with the theme "Mom Always Said..." (And I'll bet you can think of a few of your own!) It's too cute! Cost: $20.

Spring Break Week @ SBA and April Events!

It may be Spring Break for some of you, but SBA still has classes and crops! Let's see what's going on this week, and take a peek at our classes for April!

Latest & Greatest with Sheri, March 27, Tuesday, 6:30-8:30 pm

Don't miss this class! Last month, Sheri's class created these two great 12x12 layouts using the new QuicKutz Silhouette, an amazing tool that lets you create your own die cuts! This month, Sheri will showcase more latest and greatest tools and techniques that you can add to your scrapbooking repertoire! Spaces are still available. Cost: $20.

Flashback Friday Crop, March 30, Friday, 6 pm-Midnight

Flashback Friday is here again! We'll be featuring disco hits on this Friday night, so hustle your way into the Scrapbook Attack classroom, but don't trip on your platforms! Crop includes fun, laughs, and snacks. Cost: $15.
